Thine eyes plays tricks on you, good ser. Behold this uniquely Singaporean optical illusion, which first appeared on Reddit's Singapore community yesterday and has baffled many ever since.  Two optical illusions manifest in this piece of illusionary art spotted and framed by /u/zibin in the Yishun district. Aside from the obvious one involving the construction lift, spot that traffic cone that looks like it's floating above the construction worker on the ground.  Redditor MrDLTE3 explains how the illusion works with this vivid illustration. The cherry picker's crane is actually pointed towards the original poster (OP), thus creating an angle that looks like it wasn't extended at all.  In any case, the /r/singapore subreddit are celebrating the fact that the post made it to the front page of the internet itself, appearing on Reddit's landing page. The Straits Times and Business Insider even picked up the story, and according to /u/tendoman, the picture and the glorious explainer illustration appeared on TV. Nice work /r/singapore.  Photo: zibin; MrDLTE3
