Either the authorities are not being alert enough, or this lady is pretty good at disguises. A Chinese national managed to enter Singapore repeatedly using different identities.
39-year-old businesswoman Lin Lifen had fled Singapore back in 2002 after being charged with using a fake degree to apply for permanent residency, The Straits Times reports.
Over the next 12 years, she managed to enter Singapore several times using different passports with different names.
The wealthy lady — who married a permanent resident from Canada — had returned to Singapore using a Canadian passport under the name Shuting Lin Grayston, and later on used a Central African Republic diplomatic passport issued under the name Charlize Lin. Probably because of Charlize Theron, who's South African.
Lin is currently appealing against a 16-week jail sentence for her offences.
