Ah Amos, you entertaining troll. In his efforts to prove just how desperate the media are in crafting every angle they can get to yield even more stories to add to the Amos Yee Saga, he posted a very baitworthy rant on Facebook, and the mainstream media obviously fell for it, running stories simply based on one single controversial post, fuelled by will to milk out as much articles as they can out of the teen.
Calling the media "tabloid creating cunts", Yee listed out his plans for the day and even listed where he'll be, promising reporters that he'll answer all their queries and even — get this — alleging that his ex-bailor Vincent Law molested him. Obviously, his little Facebook post was designed to entice and get reporters' heartbeats racing over a juicy new story, and unsurprisingly, it worked.

Last night, and even today morning at around 11am, reportors gathered at my doorstep, wanting some exclusive interviews...

Media channels such as The Straits Times and Channel NewsAsia followed Yee's expectations to the letter by publicising about his elaborate allegations and reaching out to his defence lawyer Alfred Dodwell and Law himself about it. Both obviously expressed surprise over the accusations of molest, and Law flatly denied it.
According to Channel NewsAsia, Yee was also not seen at Pasir Panjang MRT station — meaning that they actually waited for him since 3pm.
Come on guys, Amos is just fuckin' around with the media.
The 16-year-old has been allowed to post online since his verdict was passed yesterday (guilty of both charges), and awaits sentencing on June 2.
