If you were wondering what exactly our politicians do during their workdays, wonder no more. They get a shit load of things done each day — or at least that's particularly the case for Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K. Shanmugam.
The short film documents the day in the life of the Minister, who certainly seems to have a lot on his plate in his daily itinerary, going for meetings with foreign politicians, organisations, settling national matters and attending events as part of his duties. All the while, Shanmugam keeps it real and down to earth, driving his own car around, eating in hawker centres in Yishun — where he represents as the Member of Parliament for Nee Soon GRC — and apparently seems to know his constituents on a personal level. He even sacrifices his Deepavali public holiday to lead a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Japan. True champ.
