Stray dog population pops up in Yishun Park; visitors warned not to feed themA canine problem has popped up in Yishun Park it seems, with park visitors reporting several stray dogs appearing in the vicinity — and they could be aggressive at times.  According to a report by Channel NewsAsia, many visitors mentioned that around five to six dogs reside around the park, and would sometimes chase people. One individual even reported being attacked by the dogs.  It looks as if they're being fed by people too. The dogs were seen eating from packets of food scattered around Yishun Park.  The National Parks Board are currently working together with the SPCA to trap, rehabilitate and rehome the stray dogs, and will continue to monitor the situation. The parks authority have also warned visitors not to feed the dogs, and enforcement will be taken against those who are caught feeding.  Photo: NParks website
