The Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) of Singapore will be holding Tech Saturday on Apr 25 in the country's first ever tech carnival at the Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre, featuring activities, competitions and giveaways for the whole family.
Highlights of free carnival include the Tinker Space where folks can try out the latest gadgets and tech projects, the Arena for drone and RC car enthusiasts, Worksheds for attendees to learn about robotics and even a Kids' Hackathon for the young 'uns to show off their coding skills.
The main crux of the festival is the theme that technology can be fun and exciting for everyone across all ages — and not scary at all when our robot overlords eventually take over the planet.
