First posted on Facebook last Saturday by Mediacorp personality Kenneth Jianwen, the brainteaser has had netizens across social media racking their brains for the solution, and questioning themselves if they are actually smarter than a 12-year-old student.

As it turns out, Primary 5 students aren't even the target audience for the conundrum — it's a question from the Singapore and ASEAN Schools Math Olympiads (SASMO), who've even posted an official solution to the question.

What a relief. But still, that doest excuse the fact that Cheryl is a damn bitch for putting her two new friends through a mental wringer. Pro Tip: when your new friends ask you when your birthday is, just tell them the date and month, like how a decent person would.
