Abbey Road it ain't, but all four members of The Beatles were spotted in their signature stride as they took centre stage at Raffles Place yesterday.
Wax figures of John, Paul, George and Ringo were placed on the grass patch outside Raffles Place MRT station, as part of Madame Tussauds Singapore's celebration of The Fab Four's arrival in the wax museum here.
Recreated in the same poses as their iconic Abbey Road album cover, the wax figures are a touring set and will feature in Madame Tussauds Singapore at Sentosa for the next three months.
“The Beatles have always been a firm all-time crowd favourite at Madame Tussauds with the young and old. Fans in Singapore can now join the fab four in recreating the iconic Abbey Road shot," remarked General Manager of Madame Tussauds Singapore Craig Connor. "This is an exciting addition to Madame Tussauds Singapore and part of our plan to ensure that the attraction continues to appeal to visitors from all around the world.”
