Foodie heaven awaits you in Bugis next week when the World Street Food Congress returns to town, promising five days of glorious feasts prepared by award-winning local, regional and international chefs.
The second edition of the food summit features a fresh array of 24 stalls from 12 cities from all over the world, offering dishes rarely seen around Singapore — Penang's Nonya black satay, the Philippines' marinated meats sisig, Bolivian shish-kebabs anticuchos and many more comfort food from other countries.

Aspiring chefs can also visit the jamboree to catch Masterclass street-style demos with free recipes, featuring Indonesian culinary expert William Wongso and English chef and Asian cuisine specialist Peter Lloyd.
Of course as a legit food congress, the World Street Food Dialogue will also be on the agenda as a two-day conference and networking event for those in the food and beverage industry, with the likes of celebrity chefs Anthony Bourdain and Claus Meyer gracing the event back in 2013.
It's food galore at the World Street Food Congress from Apr 8 to Apr 12 at the open field at Bugis, next to Tan Quee Lan Street. Admission to the jamboree is free to the public — stay updated on their official Facebook page.
