Well, this is just getting ridiculous.
In an overplayed effort to pay tribute to the late Lee Kuan Yew, 50 local artistes came together and recorded themselves singing the National Anthem.
The sappy musical tribute includes the singing likes of Nathan Hartono, Stefanie Sun, Gayle Nerva, Juz-B and more, while randoms such as director Jack Neo, actor-comedian Mark Lee and others just want to join in the jumble.
Proving their staunch love for their country and the man who lead the way to progress, all the people involved in the project — artistes, sound engineers, music video editors — did everything for free, Channel NewsAsia reports.
That's great, we guess — that should explain the meh quality of the whole thing.
