![Lying-in-state at Parliament House extended to 24 hours daily till March 28]()
Owing to the volume of people looking to pay their respects to Singapore's first Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, the lying-in-state at the Parliament House has been extended to 24 hours daily until March 28, 8pm.
MRT services will be running round the clock on Wednesday, March 25.
A notice on the Remembering Lee Kuan Yew website reveals the current waiting time is eight hours, and the public is advised not to join the queue, which has swollen to various parts of the City Hall district, at this time. If you do plan on joining the queue soon, you're advised to alight at Clarke Quay MRT station.
