A generous florist at Raffles Place MRT station has been giving away flowers — white gerbera daisies that can cost up to $2 and white roses up to $4 — since Monday for people to bring to the late Lee Kuan Yew's wake. "The man, in his fifties, refused to be named and reluctantly gave us answers because, he said, he was not in this for the publicity," reports Catherine Reborts in The New Paper.

The shop is called Artisan de Fleurs and its owner plans to continue doing this until Friday. If you see the kind-hearted uncle, give him a hug from us.
