But there's one we're always happy to get behind: the Skytrax World Airport Awards, which Changi Airport recently topped for the third time running. The international airport has won the World's Best award six times altogether.
Changi also won Best Airport for Leisure Amenities for the seventh time, thanks to facilities such as state-of-the-art gardens, a terrace swimming pool, lounge bars and its Transit Hotel.
According to Skytrax CEO Edward Plaisted, Changi Airport's repeat win wasn't a surprise. "Rather than dwell on earlier success, the airport continues to innovate and concentrate on making the customer experience in the airport environment the most enjoyable," he said.
