People are laughing over the slashing incident at ITE College WestPhotos and videos of a scuffle that occurred at ITE College West have been going viral since they were shared on Twitter this morning.  In some of the footage, a white-shirted man is seen chasing someone at the school's Piazza, brandishing what looks to be a knife. He takes a shot, finely missing his victim's head.  All these as a sizable crowd sits idly around the Piazza as if watching a circus act. According to The New Paper, the suspected slashing incident happened at about 11am and at least one is injured.  Slashing and fighting case at College West Piazza pic.twitter.com/iOQb63VC4P — ↯asyrafyazeed↯ (@valkyrieasyraf) March 10, 2015 Naturally, many are baulking at the mere possibility of something like this happening in a local educational institution and during school hours, too. Parents pay so much money for you to go get an education at school. You go school slash people. Great job lad. — Malik Saiful Nizam (@MaikaNizam) March 10, 2015 But there are some others, mostly in that generation of students, who're making fun of the incident, especially the fact that the perpetrator had lost his shoe during the process.   HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!! pic.twitter.com/Rv1STCliIX — free•spirit (@eenranggi) March 10, 2015 “@hzqkhn: I found his other shoe pic.twitter.com/yuPR3SgGmL”HAHAHAH IDK TO LAUGH OR — qis (@blqshfl) March 10, 2015 kasut kat mana, kasut kasut kat mana. — sol. (@solihinoorazmi) March 10, 2015 Other tweets — obviously non-exhaustive — proving the lackadaisical way folks on Twitter are addressing the subject: thank you to all my fans at itecw pic.twitter.com/1WkzA0jitA — smirk (@solihinweggie) March 10, 2015 "@ShaalV: “@SG_Teens: Power Rangers spotted at Somerset MRT station!! pic.twitter.com/XxC1PMyBrK” on their way to college west !" — ♤.♡.♧.♢ (@zboii17) March 10, 2015 Are we missing something? Are bringing a "parang" to school and using it to attack others part of everyday ITE life?  Got a tip?
