The child bursts into tears and refuses to leave, to which his mother drags him away and — according to the uploader — flung to the ground.

Though the panning of the camera doesn't really show if the woman intentionally pushed the child down or that he tripped and fell, it's apparent that the boy turned hysterical, screeching at the top of his lungs on the floor while his mother expressed her anger and demanded him to stand up.
The uploader notes that he shouted at the mother before a PCF teacher came to attend to the boy. Netizens have noted that the whole thing might not even be considered as abuse as the video doesn't accurately depict what truly transpired. The child could have been throwing a tantrum and flung himself onto the floor for all we know.
