A hell house for dogs is the last thing you'd expect when you open the doors to your house, but that's exactly what greeted a 30-year-old Singaporean man when he entered his Malaysian house last week.
Goh had leased out his house in Taman Pelangi in Johor Bahru to a veterinarian at $1,100 per month since last year, but he made a trip back to his property after his tenant stopped paying rent four months ago,The New Paper reported.
Upon opening the door to his house, he was greeted by 30 malnourished and very, very hungry dogs. While some ran out from the house, some other canines actually tried to make a meal out of Goh.
In a scene right out of a snuff film, the vet had turned his abode into a doghouse and subsequently abandoned the canines to starve and rot in their own filth. Shit and rubbish were strewn everywhere as the bigger dogs tried to eat the weaker ones, while Goh's $38,000 renovations in the house were completely ruined.
The dismayed Goh then went out to buy 30kg of dog food to feed the starving canines before calling non-profit organisation Homeless and Orphan Pets Exist (HOPE) for assistance in the rescue.

The shelter's volunteers reportedly managed to rescue 24 out of the 30 dogs — two were already dead by the time of discovery.
A neighbour told Goh that the vet, Dr Lim had not been seen for two weeks.
