Four former Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) specialists based at Tuas Checkpoint were charged for corruption on Jan. 9.
According to Channel NewsAsia, the officers — 25-year-old Azhar Kahmis, 26-year-old Hidayat Mohamed Hussain, 29-year-old Lukmanulhakim Samsun and 34-year-old Mohamed Nazrul Noor Mohamed — accepted bribe offers pertaining to the facilitation and the granting of visit passes prolonging the stay of foreigners in Singapore.
