![Coconuts Hot Spot: Full Pint Brewery]()
The opening of a new craft beer bar is always exciting news, but add to that a seafood-centric menu and a location close to the waterfront and you’ve practically got a slice of the Pacific Northwest. With Portland, Seattle and Vancouver on our minds, we returned to Parkland Green, a place that is quickly becoming one of our favourite chill out spots.

Décor wise, Full Pint has an interesting mix of industrial and rustic elements. While the bar area has plenty of metal fixtures typically associated with a microbrewery, seating is made from unfinished wood with a few ceramic-topped tables outside — it’s got a Mexican cantina vibe to it. Like its neighbours, Full Pint’s al fresco area is designed to be airy and ideal for enjoying the setting without having to worry about sweating it out.

While Full Pint is a new establishment, those familiar with good beer in town will know their brews pretty well. A full range of Archipelago Brewery’s beers (from $10 a half pint) are on tap here, including their sometimes elusive Limited Editions. A selection of bottled beers and ciders is also available (from $14). Beyond its hoppy offerings, Full Pint is still very much a beach bar at heart, and the cocktail crowd will be quite happy to browse their list of mojitos, daiquiris, caipirinhas and Cuba Libres (from $18).

From the Fish Bar at Full Pint, diners can look forward to a vast array of seafood for every taste and budget. You can go simple with half a dozen Fines de Claire oysters ($22), hearty with wild cod with fennel confit, asparagus and celeriac potato purée ($33) or extravagant with a seafood platter consisting of lobster, king crab, oysters, house-smoked trout, prawns and mussels ($138, serves four).

There are pizzas and pasta dishes to top things off while light bites are highlighted by their mini burger platters — created according to your picks from a line-up of chicken and aged cheddar sauce ($5), pork belly and Thai chilli mayo ($6), beef and Kikorangi blue cheese cream ($8), halibut and caviar ($6), king crab and mustard cream ($6), scallop ($8) and lobster with crustacean cream ($9).
Full Pint Brewery is at #01-20/21/22/23/24 Parkland Green, 920 East Coast Parkway, 6342-0244. Open Mon and Wed — Fri 3pm-midnight; Sat — Sun 11am — midnight; Tue closed.
