The Runninghour Club, which lets fitness enthusiasts buddy up with their intellectually-challenged friends on Saturday runs, is organising a truly unique event on March 22, 7am.
Runninghour 2015 considers itself the "first and only race in Singapore where runners with special needs are recognised and integrated into a mass running event".
Participants can run alongside over 200 visually, intellectually and physically-challenged individuals in the 10km competitive run and 5km fun run categories, or register as partners for either the competitive or non-competitive blind run, where one of you will be — you guessed it — blindfolded.
Venue still to be confirmed. Registration is $45 — 50 through Feb. 25 via the official website.
