None of Singapore's best known hotel brands copped the top rated spot in TripAdvisor's 2015 Travellers' Choice Awards.
The honour went instead to Amoy by Far East Hospitality, a rather exclusive Tanjong Pagar establishment with only 37 rooms. Part of a heritage conservation project, the hotel is located within Far East Square, and has 299 reviews on TripAdvisor, many of which are "Very good" or "Excellent" ratings. It's no wonder that Amoy also picked up the Best Hotel for Service award from users of the popular trip planning site.
The lush Capella Singapore, our iconic Raffles Hotel and The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore were placed in second, third and fourth places respectively.
