Want your business to fire up the region? Echelon 2015's still looking for its Top 100 StartupsOne of our favourite events to go to each year is returning in 2015, bigger and better.  The Echelon Asia Summit 2015, a business and tech conference by locally-based startup blog e27, is slated to happen over two days from June 23.  Echelon's already looking for candidates for their Top 100 Startups competition, where new businesses will pitch at qualifier events held in a whopping 14 countries, to compete for an exhibition place at the Summit.  A further Top 10 will get to pitch on stage in front of a panel of esteemed judges.  Find out more about the process:  In 2014, Echelon saw 1,700 attendees, made up of investors, entrepreneurs, tech thought leaders and members of the media, from 32 countries around the world.  Sucess stories from Echelon's Top 100 Startups programme include online grocer Redmart, who received USD23 million in Series C funding after exhibiting at the 2012 Startup Marketplace. Last year's winner Taamkru, a Thai education tech startup, got USD620,000 in seed funding by 500 Startups.   Submissions are still open through Jan. 31 via the Echelon website.   Coconuts Singapore is an official media partner for the Echelon Asia Summit 2015 happening in June.
