It's a jittery period for airline operators in the Southeast Asian region, especially since the tragic ongoings concerning AirAsia. It seems that fellow budget airline Scoot aren't taking any chances when it comes to preventing potential disasters.
An hour its flight to Sydney this morning, Scoot flight TZ2 had to turn back to Changi Airport after the pilots noted the lit up indicator light at the cockpit, TODAY reports. Reportedly, the crew decided to turn back as a precaution and that it was done out of priority for safety.
Engineers found that the indicator light on the plane was found to be "benign", or whatever that means. The affected passengers switched to another aircraft and took off at 9.43am with a new set of crew, landing safely in Sydney.
