Remember L'Eclair Patisserie? We told you they'd be the next big thing in a #TrendSing report last year dedicated to one-trick bakers.
Le Cordon Bleu-educated duo Sarah Tan and Michelle Looi are back with another pop-up event, but this time, 20 percent of the proceeds will go towards social enterprise Bettr Barista, which offers a host of services to disadvantaged and underprivileged women. These services include barista training and apprenticeship, life and emotional skills, and even physical self-defence tutelage.
L'Eclair is the first food partner for The Shiok Collective's monthly Events for a Purpose, and will be selling (what else, but) their signature eclairs, served with Artistry's coffee. The Shiok Collective will also be hawking their new collection of apparel, car decals and stickers.
Purpose SG - Volume 1: Eclairs for a Purpose will take place over three weekends: Jan. 31 — Feb. 1, Feb. 7 — 8, and Feb. 14 — 15, at Artistry Cafe.
L'Eclair Patisserie is currently taking reservations (limited!) for a tea set that will include eight assorted mini eclairs (with two yet to be launched flavours) and one signature chicken and bacon basque pie.
Stay tuned to their Facebook page for reservation details.
