Rapidly rising nightclub Kyō will be shutting down operations early next year — they'll be undergoing a major revamp that reportedly costs $400,000.
According to the Straits Times, the uber-chic underground party venue will be installing a new DJ console and an improved sound system in a two-week long renovation period. Kyō will open its doors again in time for its second anniversary in March.
Tucked away in the Cecil Street financial district, the club has quickly become one of the most hyped places for sophisticated dance tunes (none of that EDM trash) and a solid variety of choice spirits, whisky, wine and other alcoholic potions to accompany the night.
Their success and popularity here has enabled club owners Limited Edition Concepts to open a sister outlet in Kuala Lumpur by the third quarter of next year as the fourth homegrown nightlife brand to expand across the borders.
