A few hours after confessing to seven cat deaths before they even opened, Cuddles Cafe apologised, describing themselves as "drowning in all the damage" caused by the backlash.
In a rather showy post uploaded last night, the cat cafe at *SCAPE insisted they loved their cats and had a "strong passion" for them, and went into detail about their mistakes and how they would continue to improve.
Then they said, "we now have a harmonious family of cat loving, sociable, and capable staff that are able to work harmoniously within the cafe", which begs the question: What was this place like before?
A cat cafe filled with incompetent people who hated cats and each other? They only opened in September this year — that escalated quickly.
And it seems we're not the only people who think this way. The abovementioned post has been inundated with comments such as these:
Then the inevitable happened. Someone brought SMRT Ltd (Feedback) into the picture.
And the local vigilante site, responsible for 'taking down' menaces like Brit investment manager Anton Casey and Sim Lim Square bully Jover Chew, responded:
