50 people were arrested in an overnight operation conducted in Geylang on Dec. 13.
The operation was led by officers from the Bedok Police Division, and involved those from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) and the Health Sciences Authority (HSA). There were nine men and 41 women in the group aged between 19 and 56 years old, arrested for various offences including drug, immigration, vice and even peddling of illegal sexual enhancement products.
The latter worth almost a $1m was seized by the HSA during the operation.
Investigations are still on-going.
