Modern innovation meets Da Vinci at Singapore Maker Festival 2014What if we told you you could take a selfie at a butt-activated booth? Would you go for it? If you answer yes, then you should really pop into the ArtScience Museum. From Dec. 10 (Wednesday) — 14 (Sunday), the museum will hold a festival called Living Leonardos, celebrating the life of Leonardo da Vinci. The festival supports ArtScience's latest exhibition Da Vinci: Shaping the Future with workshops exploring the art of — among others — 3D printing, digital doodling and codex hacking... for free. Here's a full list of the workshops:  · Digital doodling and 3D printing by Simplifi3D · Codex Hacking by David Liew · Fabric Hacking by Agatha Lee & Leon Lim · Mobile Holographic Display by Jason Loo · Silkscreen/batik circuits by Cherlyn Mak A display of winning works from the Singapore Maker Festival’s Make-a-thon challenge will be making their debut at the ArtScience Museum. These art pieces were created based on Leonardo da Vinci’s seven principles: Curiosita, Dimonstrazione, Sensazione, Sfumato, Arte/Scienza, Corporalita and Connesione. The festival will also feature various guest projects such as the Synesthethe’s Music Box & Circle of Light. Created by Art Makes Us Collective, it allows visitors to play and interact with the colour blocks to create sounds.
