A man was arrested yesterday for his involvement in several cases of obscene acts in the Yishun housing estate.
Officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division were attending to a case of a person loitering at a block along Yishun Ring Road when they spotted him behaving suspiciously. After conducting a check on him, he was placed under arrest for obscene act. He is believed to be involved in at least two other cases.
The 27-year-old will be charged in court tomorrow. If found guilty of committing an obscene act in a public place, he will be punished with imprisonment of up to three months and/or a fine.
