1kg of cannabis worth over $33,000 were seized on Saturday (Nov. 22) at the Woodlands Checkpoint.
After officers from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) alerted the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) to at about 1:05pm, the authorities found the drugs in the form of a block of 'vegetable matter', in the engine compartment of the Malaysia-registered car.
The 37-year-old Malaysian driver was arrested.
Investigations are still on-going.
