'I Hugged the Berlin Patient' to be televised globally on World Aids DayOn World Aids Day (Dec. 1), local filmmaker Edgar Tang's acclaimed documentary about the first man ever to be cured of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), will be televised via MTV Latin America and MTV US Hispanic.  A 45-minute TV edit of I Hugged the Berlin Patient, which follows Tang's search for Timothy Ray Brown, will be streamed to 63 million subscribed households of the channels across the world — a first for a Singapore documentary. The film co-directed by Dzul Sungit was first screened in local cinemas in December last year, and will be shown again tomorrow at The Arts House. Tickets are $15 via Peatix.
