A 54-year-old man has been arrested for breaking into a house in a condominium located along Dunearn Road.
An occupant of the unit returned home on Nov. 18 at about 1:30pm to find the suspect in the house. The suspect fled, and the owner called the police.
Officers from the Jurong Police Division picked up the suspect at about 7pm.
He will be charged in court today for the offence of Housebreaking under Section 453 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which carries an imprisonment term of up to two years. He also faces a fine.
