The heart of the Central Business District (CBD) would seem like the last place for major bloodshed, but the constantly-congested area just became the scene of a gory knife fight.
The stabbing incident occurred a few hours ago at Raffles Green, where eyewitnesses reported seeing a man bleeding from his stomach chasing another man, who was holding on to a small kitchen knife, Channel NewsAsia reports.

A few members of the public managed to apprehend the fleeing man, pinning him to the ground while the authorities arrived. Others performed first aid on the bleeding man.
Allegedly, it was a case of armed robbery — the robber had stolen a laptop from another man, and stabbed him repeatedly before running away, according to Stomp.
Five police vehicles and two ambulances were despatched to the scene, and both men were conveyed to the Singapore General Hospital. Reportedly, authorities are still at the scene, conducting investigations.
