StarHub customers are up in arms over the disrupted mobile network that’s preventing them from making voice calls since this morning.
The mobile operator was alerted to the issue and posted on their Facebook page in the morning about facing an “intermittent issue with mobile voice services in certain eastern and western areas”. According to them, mobile data services have not been affected.
(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_GB/all.js#xfbml=1"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));

A huge number of customers have took to the StarHub Facebook page to rage about the disruption to their daily routine, with most of them facing serious disconnection issues in both data and voice networks, in all areas.
As the day went on, there seemed to be no end to the network outage. Even the Infocomm Development Authority had to step in, probably due to the mass of complaints coming in from seething StarHub customers.
(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_GB/all.js#xfbml=1"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));

StarHub posted a few hours later after their initial notification, assuring customers that “rectification works are underway” and insisting that mobile data and text services are not affected. Despite their affirmation, customers are still reporting a complete outage in all services, politely accusing the mobile operators as goddamn liars.
As of writing, StarHub still has not resolved their network issues.
