Police have arrested a 32-year-old man believed to be involved in a case of aggravated outrage of modesty in Clementi on Nov. 9.
The incident happened at a HDB block in Avenue 9 and involved the suspect restraining and molesting his female victim in a lift before fleeing.
Officers from the Clementi Police Division conducted intensive investigation to establish the suspect's identity, and eventually picked him up the next day in Jurong West.
He will be charged in court today. If convicted, the suspect faces jail of no less than three years and caning.
