With the help of officers from the Singapore Police Force (SPF), CNB arrested a total of 103 suspected drug abusers, as well as six suspected drug traffickers. The authorities also picked up a 49-year-old in possession of 590g of heroin, 12g of 'Ice' and 22 Erimin-5 tablets, plus more than $3,300 in cash, in Kaki Bukit.   Photo: Drugs and cash seized on Oct. 30; CNB In a separate operation on Oct. 30, CNB recovered about 450g of heroin, 210g of 'Ice' and 1,000 Erimin-5 tablets from another 49-year-old in Teban Gardens. He was travelling in a car with a 50-year-old male, who had on him cash amounting to $1,760. Both men are Singaporean.  On the same day, offiers raided the hideout of a 49-year-old man along Changi Road. There, they recovered about 180g of 'Ice', 22 'Ecstasy' tablets, 43 Erimin-5 tablets and drug-taking instruments. Two female foreign nationals aged 30 and 43 were also found and arrested in the unit.  Investigations on all arrested suspects are on-going.  The Misuse of Drugs Act determines the death penalty if the amount of diamorphine (pure heroin) trafficked exceeds 15g. 15g of diamorphine is equivalent to 1,250 straws, which can feed about 180 abusers for a week.
