Chekkit: Bata's bringing back their original Tennis shoe, first made in 1936 for kids in India to wear for Physical Education (PE) classes.
Since then, the Czech brand has been considered the staple shoe for students around the world including Singapore, where the Tennisman logo has witnessed countless rounds of football, Captain's Ball and Pepsi Cola, 1, 2, 3!
This year, Bata's celebrating their 120th anniversary by bringing back the old school, in true limited edition style.
The resurrected design, available in eight colours, have already hit cult stores around the world including Colette in Paris and Dover Street Market in London.
It's available for $79.95 in Singapore, but only via reservation on the (super coolio) website. Only 200 pairs are on sale, and these are being counted down in what looks like real time.
Tick tock.
