Yesterday, a shophouse along Geylang Lorong 8 broke out in flames.
According to Channel NewsAsia, all six people in the property were evacuated before the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) arrived.
Three fire engines, two red rhinos, two fire bikes and a support vehicle were dispatched to the scene. The fire was put out within 15 minutes by two water jets.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
