It’s been a while since live music fans get to experience a show in the iconic Victoria Theatre, which only recently opened its doors again after a four-year long refurbishment.
Come Jan. 15 next year, Singapore’s oldest performing arts establishment plays host to the ultra-modern, super-sleek tunes of electronic producer Tycho, aka Scott Hansen. Thanks to Secret Sounds Asia, the San Franciso native will dropping by with his full band to flesh out his shimmering, dreamlike melodies in a classy marriage of electronic rhythms and organic riffs.
His latest release Dive only cements his finesse in painting pastoral, nostalgia-driven soundscapes, and the Victoria Theatre should more than enhance all the sights and sound of the live Tycho experience. Tickets go on sale from Nov. 3 at $65 via Sistic; stay updated on the show on the Facebook event page.
