One of the most significant plays ever written, Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot will return to the Singapore stage after its last run in 2012, from Nov. 19 — 23 at the SOTA Drama Theatre.
Fittingly conveyed on a minimalist stage, the show is directed by AC Productions' drama-loving Peter Reid and features a sterling Irish cast including Neill Fleming (Vladimir), Patrick O'Donnell (Estragon) and Paul Kealyn (Pozzo). Fleming and O'Donnell have both won performance awards in film festivals across the world; the former also starred in the second season of HBO hit show Game of Thrones.
Reid has also selected two local boys to play the role of Young Boy.
Tickets for the shows, timed at 3pm, 7pm and 7:45pm, are on sale now at Sistic for $48 — 88.
