Police arrest two men involved in chopper scuffle at Vista Point

Things got out of hand at Vista Point yesterday when three men got into a heated dispute — one of them came to the fight with a chopper in hand.  According to an account on Stomp, the shopping mall located along Woodlands Avenue 4 almost became host to a grisly affair at midnight when the assailant brought his chopper along with the full intention of severly injuring another man during the scuffle.  “That man quickly backed out and took the cover of a rubbish bin to attack back,” says the Stomp user, who witnessed the incident after doing some shopping at Vista Point. The chopper-wielding attacker then ran away to a block nearby, where police arrived at the scene. The policemen, armed with a taser and a baton, ordered the men to lie down on the ground, and the chopper was hastily thrown down.  According to the police, two men in their 20s have been arrested for offences involving the carrying of offensive weapons.  Investigations are still ongoing.  Photo: Google Maps screengrab   Read Also: Violent woman whacks boy on MRT with umbrella till handle breaks
