Late Huang Wenyong gets wax tribute at Madame Tussauds, but daughter is upsetThis week, the wax figure of the late Huang Wenyong was revealed at Madame Tussauds Singapore, which opens this weekend.  His tribute stands among prominent names such as former Prime Ministers (PMs) Lee Kuan Yew and Goh Chok Tong, the current PM Lee Hsien Loong, Queen of Caldecott Hill Zoe Tay, singer Stefanie Sun, as well as the golden boy of local football Fandi Ahmad.  Indeed it's a notable honour for one of the pioneer actors of local Chinese drama, who passed away last year after suffering from lymphoma.  But the achievement has left his daughter Nicole Ng, upset.  Yesterday, she uploaded on Facebook a screenshot of a comment made by an insensitive netizen, who questioned her father's significance such that he was given his own figure at the renowned museum. She also included her response to the original comment:  In her Facebook post, Ng said she didn't want to disclose the person's identity, but decided she couldn't put up with the "outward disrespect"."It's insensitive people like him that make the world a bitter place full of jealousy and ignorance. Everyone is free to have their own preference, but it's not right to put the people or thing down just because it's not your cup of tea," she wrote.   Read Also:  Local football's golden boy gets own wax figurine at Madame Tussauds Local politicos get their selfies on at Madame Tussauds Singapore
