![Window panes shattered, woman injured from possible gas explosion in Ang Mo Kio]()
A woman in her 30s is undergoing treatment at the Singapore General Hospital, after a suspected gas explosion in her HDB flat at Block 218, Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1.
According to The Straits Times, the blast shattered her windows, one of which was dislodged, landing on and damaging a vehicle parked below the fourth-floor flat.
Glass from the broken windows were found lying on the floor of the corridor.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force reports that it was alerted to the fire at 7:33am, but the fire had burnt out by the time an ambulance, fire engine and support vehicle had arrived at the scene.
Investigations are underway.
