A 33-year-old Chinese male was arrested yesterday for damaging a POSB Automated Teller Machine (ATM).
After being alerted to the smashed ATM at Jalan Besar on Oct. 4, officers from the Central Police Division conducted thorough checks, eventually capturing the suspect at Raffles Avenue 10 days later.
The suspect will be sentenced in court today. If found guilty, he may face an imprisonment term of at least six months, or a maximum fine of $2,500, or both.
