Seven more places banned from setting up eateries in shophousesIn an attempt to curb existing parking and traffic problems at certain congested areas, the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and the Land Transport Authority (LTA) have updated its existing list of banned addresses from establishing new eating houses in shophouses with seven new locations.  The new locations are as follows:  - Bukit Timah Road (Wilby Road to Elm Avenue, Anamalai Avenue to Fourth Avenue) - Changi Road (Jalan Eunow, Still Road to Jalan Kembangan, Frankel Avenue) - Jalan Riang - Kampong Bahru Road/Spottiswoode Park Road - Kampong Glam - Sembawang Road (Mandai Road to Transit Road) - Upper Paya Lebar Road (Lorong Ah Soo to Paya Lebar Cresent)   With the addition of seven restricted places, the latest list totals up to 18 areas banned from setting up eateries in shophouses.   Existing eating houses, situated within the affected areas, will be allowed to renew their Temporary Permission (TP) if there aren’t pressing complaints on traffic issues. It should also comply to URA and LTA’s planning guidelines and conditions.   Photo: Wikipedia    Read Also:  EFFING GROSS: 'Family' of roaches discovered at food court of luxury Singapore mall  Love eggs?
