Located in the hip Kampong Glam district, this rising star in the restaurant scene offers the perfect post-meal fix: an affogato. You could call this version deconstructed as it's served in two parts: a cup with two scoops of creamy vanilla ice cream and a shot glass of espresso topped with crispy and crumbly golden biscotti. It's a luxurious blend of luscious caramel and coffee ensconced in a shell of creamy milk chocolate. We love the earthy flavour of sweet, buttery caramel which marries perfectly with the rich aromas of the coffee. Created by Oriole Cafe and Bar's owner, Keith Loh, Citrus Sin is a warm drink of espresso, orange juice, chocolate, brown sugar, vanilla, honey, mint, cinnamon, star anise, and milk. Inspired by the cafe's cheesecake, Loh created this drink for the Singapore National Barista Championship, and took home the winning prize. The Espresso Ice Cubes with Milk is just what it sounds like it is: dark blocks of frozen espresso served in a tall glass alongside two mini bottles of the milk of your choice. Kopi Buns Roti Mum #01-40, IMM, 2 Jurong East Street 21, Tel: 6567-9630 Dark, crusty and puffy dark buns - these aren't just anyone's buns, these are Roti Mum's Kopi Buns. These warm domes of bread are fluffy and cake-y and have a sweet, crisp, and flaky crust. These golden puffs of bread are only ever so lightly flavoured with coffee, so you won't get too much of a caffeine lift with this one. Unlike other tiramisus, we're able to taste the distinct layers here and the quality of its ingredients speaks volumes.
