The annual Asian music extravaganza Skechers Sundown Festival returns this year to the F1 Pit building on Nov. 22.
In the 2014 edition, the festival maintains their hallmark dedication to celebrate Asian music and culture with the inclusion of 11 well-established music artistes from all around the region to perform at the Marina Promenade. Fans can look forward to Taiwanese singer-songwriter Chang Chen-Yue, Indonesian all-girl outfit S.O.S, Hong Kong singer/actress Kate Tsui, India’s bhangra sensation Kanika Kapoor, Filipino music icon Ely Buendia’s band Pupil and many more. Representing Singapore, hip-hop stalwart Shigga Shay is set to rock the Sundown Festival stage for the first time.
“We intend for Sundown Festival to be a signature showcase of Asian music talents which will amplify the careers of these artistes,” shares Samantha Chan, founder of Sundown Festival and organising firm Res Spade Entertainment. “Having the festival here, is part of our secret wish to transform Singapore to be the Asian music capital.”
Aside from the variety of live music offerings, fans will also get to relish popular street food from the different Asian countries at the food stalls set-up on the festival grounds.
Tickets available at Sistic from Sept. 18 at $88, $118 and $138. Stay updated on Sundown Festival on their official website and their Facebook page.
