In light of their cancelled appearance at Malaysia’s Good Vibes Festival, local alternative rock veterans Electrico will be holding their own full-length concert at The Substation next month.
The trio was not able to carry on their much anticipated set at the outdoor festival last month due to heavy rain, and the upcoming make-up show promises to deliver all the songs originally planned for the festival. The concert will also be held with the noble intent of raising funds for The Substation, where patrons can pay any amount for entry and beverages with all proceeds going towards the repair of the iconic arts venue.
“The Substation has been a sanctuary to Singapore’s indie arts scene”, says Electrico in a Facebook post. "So all entrance fees and bar sales for our show will be PAY-AS-YOU-WISH, and will go towards helping fix up the iconic venue for more years of experimental and groundbreaking arts”.
Electrico’s Love At The Sub takes place on Oct. 19 at The Substation. Tickets are pay-as-you-wish at the door; all proceeds go to The Substation. RSVP on their official website.
