Satsuma Shochu will serve their last customers on Oct. 31.
The seven-year-old izakaya is closing down in lieu of major renovation work at the Gallery Hotel, where it's currently located.
According to a press statement via SPH food blog So Shiok!, the owner and team at the yakitori place will be at their sister restaurant Shunjuu Izakaya, in Robertson Quay.
They've also revealed that there are plans to move to a new space, preferably in the Mohammed Sultan area.
