Italian Simone Legno has revealed in an interview with Her World Plus that there will soon be a standalone Tokidoki store in Singapore.
The Japanese-inspired lifestyle brand exploded in popularity when it first entered the market in 2005, with its cute Sanrio-style (Legno worked with the brand for eight years before venturing on his own) characters and international cult appeal. Tokidoki now boasts countless star collabs including its most well-known Lesportsac collections, as well as with the Kaiser himself, Karl Lagerfeld.
Speaking to the women's magazine, Legno said, "At the start of the year, we opened stores in Bangkok, to continue on with China, and hopefully soon, Singapore."
Legno also revealed that he'll soon be dressing up slot machines at the Marina Bay Sands Casino in his designs.
