Danish electronic producer Taragana Pyjarama will be making his Singapore debut on Oct. 16, 9:30pm at the Life Is Beautiful Kitchen & Bar as part of his upcoming Asian tour.
Nick Kold Eriksen started off his music project under the name Eim Ick before switching to the moniker Taragana Pyjarama, and has quickly become known for his bright tunes and intricately layered approach to electronic music, clearly influenced by other ornate producers Four Tet and John Talabot. His widely acclaimed debut album Tipped Bowls (2012) was praised for its dreamy textures and warm accessibility, while last year’s Nothing Hype sees Eriksen progressing towards broader ambitions.
His upcoming tour will take him across South America and Asia in places including Sao Paulo, Macau, Seoul, Shanghai, Bangkok and more. Audiences can expect a vibrant evening filled with lush electronic harmonies, where his music takes on a a more intimate, organic persona.
Tickets are on sale at $20 - stay updated on Other Sounds Asia's Facebook event page.
